DEA Drug Take Back:

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands, which could be dangerous and often tragic; this is the purpose of the Drug Take Back.

Citizens should use the Drug Take back as a day to clean out their medicine cabinets from expired or unused medication and turn it in, safely and anonymously.

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office also has a Drug Box in the lobby of the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office, which is accessible 24 hours a day.

Any unused or expired medication can be dropped in the Drug Box at any time. No sharps or liquids will be accepted.
